About Online Picker Wheel
Online Picker Wheel is an independent website with 108 free random picker tools. The main one is a picker wheel you fill with your own choices and spin. The rest are built for one job each: picking a number, drawing a name, splitting a group into teams, flipping a coin, rolling dice or choosing a giveaway winner. Everything runs in your web browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create and no feature locked behind a payment.
Why this site exists
Random choices come up all the time. A teacher needs to call on a student without looking like they are playing favorites. A group of friends cannot agree on where to eat. A streamer has to pick a giveaway winner in front of an audience that wants proof it was fair. A coach has to split twenty kids into even teams before practice starts.
Many wheel spinners online handle these jobs, but a lot of them ask you to sign up, hide useful settings behind a paid plan, fill the screen with pop-ups, or upload your lists to a server you know nothing about. We wanted tools that open fast on a phone, do one thing well, and keep your lists on your own device.
What you can do here

How the random pick works
When you press Spin, the tool asks your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) for a value and maps it onto your entries according to their weights. Only after the winner has been chosen does the wheel start its animation, which is calculated to land on that entry. Because the result does not depend on where you click, how hard you tap or how long the wheel turns, it cannot be timed or nudged. Every entry with the same weight has exactly the same chance.
The same random source powers every other tool on the site, from shuffling a deck of cards to splitting a class into teams and drawing Secret Santa matches. For large number ranges the wheel shows a sample of numbers, but the winner is still drawn from the full range.
Your data stays with you
Your entries, images, saved wheels and results are stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. When you share a wheel, the entries travel inside the link itself, in the part after the # sign, which browsers do not send to web servers. We do not offer accounts, so there are no profiles, passwords or email lists to leak. The privacy policy and cookie policy describe exactly what is stored and where.
Built to be fast and easy to use
Every page is a plain static file with a small amount of JavaScript, served from Cloudflare's global network, so the tools load quickly even on a slow mobile connection. The site works in light and dark mode, adapts to phones, tablets and large screens, respects the reduced motion setting of your device, and keeps working offline once a page has been visited. The most popular tools are available in eight languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese, Korean and Italian.
Keeping the information accurate
Some tools rely on reference lists, such as sports teams, countries, US states and their capitals, or lottery game formats. We check these against official sources and update them when they change. The country tools use the 193 member states of the United Nations plus the two observer states, Vatican City and Palestine. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
How the site is funded
Online Picker Wheel is free to use. To cover hosting and the time spent building new tools, the site may show advertising. Ads never influence how a pick is made, and no tool or setting is reserved for paying users.
