Privacy policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Online Picker Wheel (https://onlinepickerwheel.com). The short version: the tools run in your browser, and we do not collect the things you type into them. We use Google Analytics to count visits, and if ads are shown on the site, Google and its partners may use cookies as described below.

Who we are

Online Picker Wheel is an independent website offering free random picker tools. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@onlinepickerwheel.com.

Information we do not collect

• We do not offer accounts, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords.
• Entries, names, comments and settings you type into a tool are not sent to our servers.
• Images you add to a wheel are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
• Results of your spins, draws and rolls are calculated on your device and are not reported to us.

Information stored on your device

To remember your wheels between visits, the site saves data in your browser's local storage. This includes your entries, tool settings, saved wheels, results history, light or dark theme and your best flag quiz score. The site also keeps a copy of pages you have visited in your browser's cache so they open faster and work offline. This data never leaves your device. You can delete a tool's data with "Reset this wheel" in its settings, or remove everything by clearing site data for this website in your browser.

Share links

When you copy a share link, your entries and settings are encoded in the part of the link after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to web servers. Anyone you give the link to can see the entries in it, so do not share a link that contains information you want to keep private.

Information collected automatically

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type, device type and the page requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify you. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.

Advertising

To keep the tools free, this site may display ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
• If you do not opt in to personalized ads, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use cookies for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before cookies are used for personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy link shown with that message.

Ad partners do not receive the entries, names or comments you type into the tools. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which tools are opened most, which pages people arrive on and what kinds of devices and browsers they use. This helps us decide which tools to improve and which new ones to build.

• Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and collects data such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
• We do not send the entries, names or comments you type into the tools to Google Analytics. Page addresses are reported without the part after the # sign, where share links keep their entries.
• We look at this data only in aggregate and do not use it to identify you.
• You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. The tools keep working either way.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to answer you and to fix the problem you reported. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share your message with anyone else. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the European Union, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct or delete it and to object to its use. Because the tools keep your data on your own device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by clearing the site data in your browser. For emails you sent us, write to hello@onlinepickerwheel.com. For advertising data, use the opt-out links above or contact Google directly. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The tools are suitable for a general audience, including classroom use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as the privacy pages of our hosting and advertising partners. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes, for example when a new tool or service is added. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
